(ECNS) -- During his visit to Northeast China's Jilin City, Latvian Ambassador to China Karlis Eihenbaums expressed strong admiration for its natural beauty and Chinese culture, while praising China's visa-free policy.

The ambassador told China News Network that it was his first visit to Jilin and he was deeply impressed by everything he had experienced.

He noted that Latvians are well acquainted with China's Great Wall and Terracotta Warriors and that he himself has been actively promoting tourism exchanges between the two countries. China's visa-free policy plays a significant role in facilitating mutual visits and strengthening people-to-people ties.
